Wintercreek is now having our own raw fiber processed into roving. It is wonderfully soft and very, very clean. Each natural color is processed from the longest staple length of fiber for an easy-to-spin roving.

My good friend, Jill Reedy, has hand-spun samples of each of my alpacas (from their raw fleece, no less!) for you to see, and feel, just how each will spin up. The spun samples are beautiful! They show off the handle and luster of each of our alpaca’s fiber.

We process our fiber into 3” widths that are wound loosely into a large bag. We wind 2oz. and 4oz loose balls to allow for very easy spinning. We also offer pencil roving for the more experienced spinners. We also have a few blended colors available. We have these processed into batts to get the most consistent blending possible. You may purchase a complete batt, or we can pull various weights and wind them into balls.
